Wesley Chung
Senior Analyst, Public Markets
Wesley joined BRK Capital in 2024 as a Senior Analyst, Public Markets. He assists in the execution of the Public Markets investment strategy covering Public Equities, Fixed Income, and Cash Alternatives.
Prior to joining BRK Capital, Wesley worked for Fairstone Bank of Canada and Vista Properties in Montréal.
Wesley graduated from Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business with a Bachelor of Commerce (Major Finance, Minor Real Estate) degree and a Master of Business Administration (Investment Management option) degree. He is also a CFA charterholder.
Kritisha Maudhoo
Junior Accountant
Kritisha joined BRK Capital in 2023 as a Junior Accountant and is involved in the day-to-day accounting function.
Prior to joining BRK Capital, Kritisha previously held various accounting positions working with accounting and professional services firms based in Mauritius since 2015.
Kritisha holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a Minor in Finance from the University of Mauritius.
Amélie Nolin
Senior Analyst, Public Markets
Amélie joined BRK Capital as Senior Analyst, Public Markets in 2022. She assists in the execution of the public markets investment strategy covering Public Equities, Fixed Income, and Cash Alternatives, primarily through sourcing, analyzing, recommending and monitoring external managers.
Amélie has been working in the industry since 2019. Prior to joining BRK, she worked for Desjardins Global Asset Management and Hexavest.
Amélie graduated from Université de Sherbrooke with a Bachelor of Laws (LL. B.) degree, a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance, and a Master of Science degree in Administration with a concentration in Finance. She is also a CFA charterholder.
Gyuzel Gaysarova
Senior Accountant
Gyuzel joined BRK Capital in 2021 and provides day-to-day accounting services.
Gyuzel has more than twenty years’ experience in accounting. Prior to joining BRK Capital, she worked for Resolute Forest Products and ELNA Medical Group in Canada and held various accounting positions in the oil and gas industry in Russia.
Gyuzel holds a PhD in Economics and Finance from the Saint Petersburg State University of Economics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering and Administration from the Ufa State Petroleum Technological University.
Angela Liu
Controller
Angela joined BRK Capital in 2021, and is responsible for the full accounting functions including financial statements, tax filings, payroll, and various management reporting.
Angela has more than twenty years’ experience in accounting. Prior to joining BRK, she held Controller and Senior Finance Manager positions in various industries.
Angela holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University.
Sergio Scarpelli
Chief Financial Officer
Sergio joined BRK Capital in 2020, and leads all corporate and business functions related to finance, accounting, tax, human resources, operations and investment support.
Sergio has previously held senior leadership positions with National Bank of Canada and with Ernst & Young LLP.
Sergio holds the Chartered Professional Accountant (Canada) and Certified Public Accountant (USA) designations, and is a graduate of McGill University.
Lucas Malka
Manager, Investment Operations
Lucas joined BRK Capital in 2018 and is involved in all aspects of investment accounting, operations and performance measurement, analysis and reporting.
Lucas joined the industry in 2013 with Manulife, where he was responsible for third party funds and client reporting. Prior to joining BRK, he oversaw finance, treasury and regulatory reporting activities at l’Oréal.
Lucas holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University.
Steven Chamandy
Principal & Chief Investment Officer
Steven has been with BRK Capital since its inception in 2016. He is involved in all aspects of the firm, including public and private markets investments.
Steven joined the industry in 2011 and occupied roles spanning investment, sales and product development. Prior to joining BRK, he was Director of Sales for BT Global Growth.
Glenn J. Chamandy
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Glenn founded BRK Capital in 2016 and oversees its strategy and operations.
In 1984, Glenn co-founded Gildan Activewear Inc., and devoted his career in the textile and apparel industry to building Gildan into a global manufacturing leader. Glenn has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Gildan for 20 years, and previously served as Co-Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer.
In 2015, Glenn established the Chamandy Foundation, a private family foundation with a vision of leaving a lasting, positive impact on society. Chamandy Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of children and youth by funding areas such as education, health, poverty, and the environment.
